 This work is about growing of as many of the moulds, yeast, and yeast like Organisms in a sample as possible.

This work is not about the identification of Fungus; DNA, Biologs and presumptive identification methods are preformed by others and we use these others for identification.

The objective of this work is the methods for multispecied recovery from samples for the purposes of broad spectrum count and identification.

Easygel® makes these methods possible. Easygel®, thermally independent transformational (liquid to solid) media is required media for these methods. Micrology Laboratories, Goshen, IN 46526-5360 is the manufacture of Easygel® Media. Easygel® Media is the only thermally independent transformational (liquid to solid) media on the market.

Easygel® thermally independent, transformational, complex non-synthetic drop out mould media makes possible multi species recovery of fungi, the understudied kingdom.

Easygel® complex non-synthetic drop out mould media consist of 3 different media and a diluent. Easygel® mould media contains broad spectrum antibotics.

The diluent is used to dilute the sample, disperse the sample, and distribute the sample into the various mould media.

The mould media is then poured into the treated petri dish to complete the recovery process.

Why Easygel® Works; The Three Stages of Easygel®

Liquid State: Liquid isotropic culture in vitro (as an elicitor) to satisfy turgidity requirements (nutrient uptake) of microorganisms through liquid suspension.

Gelatinous State:The anisotropy (unsettled or disturbed state) decays when the poured Easygel® equalizes in the petri dish; relaxation time is seconds, returning to the quiescent state. When the Easygel® is poured in to the pretreated petri dish, ions diffuse from the pretreatment layer into the liquid. This causes the Easygel to thicken into a Gelatinous viscous state, slowing the decent of Organisms, causing the organism to be trapped when the gelatinous state sets to a Gel.
