How long will it take to see
if you have mold?
The tomato sauce grows faster
than the applesauce. In 3-5 days you should see growth. If you
do not see a lot of growth in 3-5 days you should wait another
five days and see how many CFU (molds) grow in the test. |

containers for this mold test.
- Have a well organized well lit
area with plenty of room to work in, avoid spills.
- Disposal: Lift a corner of the
container and pour in liquid laundry or dish soap cover all mold
growth let dry wrap in plastic bag and dispose.

Test how to.
- Tightly lidded containers.
- Tomato sauce and applesauce.
- Pour a thick layer of sauce
into the containers.
- Pick an area.
- Set the containers on the floor
side by side.
- Get a spray bottle fill with
distilled water.
- Spray directly over open container
until you see mist settling on the sauce.
- Let container sit for 1 hour.
- Cover tightly do not shake the
test.
- Store where convenient at room
temperature or slightly warmer.
- Cover sealed container with
a towel or paper to block light.
